Rob Ferguson was born in Sydney to a musical family of book collecting poetry lovers. He is a graguate of the University of Sydney and has remained a lifelong student of history and languages, both ancient and modern. He finds much of his poetic inspiration in the beauty of the NSW Blue Mountains and the South Coast, and the mystery of being. Rob has been writing poetry all his adult life and is affectionately known as the local poet laureate. His poems have been quoted at Australian citizenship ceremonies for a number of years. A keen photographer and music lover, he is married with four children and twelve grandchildren.
