Patricia Skelton is an astronomer at Royal Observatory Greenwich. Her passion for astronomy and space exploration can be traced back to two things: Star Trek, and seeing the incredible Solar System images captured by robotic spacecraft. Of all the objects in the Solar System, Mars is her favourite - whenever its up in the night sky, she makes sure to wave hello.
