Description

SIMON BLAXLAND-DE LANGE has for many years worked as an educator for people with special needs as well as a writer and translator. A keen amateur musician and gardener, he is a co-founder of Pericles Translations and Research, Pericles Training and Work for adults with special needs and the Pericles Theatre Company. Together with Dr Vivien Law, he co-founded the Humanities Research Group and the British group of the Humanities Section of the School of Spiritual Science, and has been a member of the Council of the Anthroposophical Society in Great Britain since 2013. He participated in the Foundation Year course at Emerson College beginning in the autumn of 1972, which was the last year of Cecil Harwoods teaching activity at the College. He is the author of Owen Barfield, Romanticism Comes of Age, A Biography (Temple Lodge Publishing, 2006)
