In "real life," Topher Goggin is a general practice attorney in central Michigan, but with a wide variety of other interests. He is the play-by-play radio announcer for Alma College and Alma High School sports, where he has won numerous awards from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters. He has also taught college precalculus (because who doesn't want to learn math from the local lawyer?), and taught beginning golfers from ages 7-16 in a local junior program. He is the author of the fairy tale humor book "Not Your Mother's Goose," along with an accompanying podcast that ran 50 episodes. At the tables, Topher is a solid, but totally recreational poker player. He has worked with Alex Fitgerald as a student for several years. Alexander "Assassinato" Fitzgerald turned pro in 2006 out of high school. Since then he has won WCOOP and SCOOP events while also final tabling WPT and EPT events. Off the felt, Alexander Fitzgerald is considered one of the most influential coaches in the game, specializing in teaching low-to-mid stakes players. He is the author of several books for D&B including The Myth of Poker Talent, Exploitative Play in Live Poker and The 100 Biggest Mistakes that Poker Players Make.
