In 1976 Argentina is governed by a military junta bankrolled by former Nazis. It is also the anniversary of a mysterious village fire in the jungle which killed all the inhabitants except one. The lone survivor, a Guarani boy, is now a Jesuit priest. A Jewish journalist, Ariel Guzman, interviews the priest at his mission, who claims Adolf Hitler ordered the village's destruction, but refuses to say why. The priest mentions the codename 'Edelweiss' and will only reveal the person's identity if he dies. 'Edelweiss' in fact is Hitler's son who was abducted by his nurse and has since disappeared. Her village was razed as an act of vengeance. Argentina's most powerful man is billionaire and Waffen-SS veteran Tiago Hecht. He is searching for 'Edelweiss' so that he can establish a Fourth Reich. Hecht now has confirmation the son is alive. But so does Mossad and they have sent a hitman to eliminate him. The only sanctuary for 'Edelweiss' is the Catholic Church, but time is running out.
