Janine Warren is a writer, educator, journalist, and former publicist who has championed some of the most influential cult artists of the past two decades, working on publicity campaigns for Johnny Marr, Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand, The Libertines, Marianne Faithfull, Mick Jones, and more. She edited and published the acclaimed anthology Punk Fiction: An Anthology of Short Stories Inspired by Punk, and her music writing has appeared in Record Collector, Loud & Quiet, and Mojo. Alongside her writing, she regularly hosts events with writers, artists, and musicians, and co-curates the Cult Music Film Club at Hebden Bridge's Trades Club.
