Description

Alex Martin is a historian and novelist, specialising in illustrated books. Recent works include Making Waves: A History of the Royal Yacht Squadron 1815-2015 (Unicorn, 2016) and Nine Lives, The Story of Biggin Hill (Unicorn, 2023). Emma Crichton-Miller is a writer and journalist. She writes about art, craft and design for the Financial Times and Apollo Magazine, among other publications. Her published books include the first monograph on Edmund de Waal (Phaidon 2014), The Pottery of John Ward (Lund Humpries 2022) and Force of Nature: The Art of Kate Malone (Skira Editore 2024). Dr Kimberley Chandler writes regularly about contemporary craft and design, and is an Exhibition Reviews Editor for The Journal of Modern Craft.
