Jan Wallace Dickinson has spent much of her life between Australia and Italy, and the past 25 years in Florence. Trained in Italian history and literature, she has worked as an editor, bookseller and translator. Her first novel, The Sweet Hills of Florence, is set during the Florence Resistance in WWII.
