Author:
The author, Margot Bain (whose nickname is “Gogo”), has worked in childcare as an
assistant teacher. She has run an employment agency for mothercraft nurses, providing
care to babies and families. She has done a writing course with the University of
Tasmania.
Above all, she loves being an active grandmother to eight amazing grandkids and
mother to four wonderful daughters. One daughter is a primary school teacher, one is
an occupational therapist, one is a tech-whiz and TV producer, and one is an artist and
jeweller.
Margot loves to paint ceramics, she volunteers for the Australian Diabetes Council
and occasionally sings in a community choir. She loved working on the children’s
program at the Art Gallery of NSW when volunteering in recent years. She loves to write
poetry and letters too!
With her tips to guide children, Margot Bain is helping her readers to colour their
