Although originally trained as an archaeologist and art conservator, Zandria has carved an unexpected and inspiring path into Australia’s space sector. In her current role, she uses her knack for translating complex technical concepts into clear, strategic insights that support Australia’s growing space ambitions on the global stage. Zandria’s unusual career journey reflects her creative and inquisitive nature. She has always embraced learning in all its forms: science, art, sport, history and, of course, storytelling. A full-time professional, mother of two primary school children and enthusiastic practitioner of Japanese jujitsu, Zandria brings imagination and curiosity to everything she does. Whether she’s working with satellites or dreaming up adventures for snails, she believes creativity has a place everywhere.

Rebel Challenger is an artist and wildlife carer who lives on a leafy acreage property — shared generously with a flock of chickens. A newspaper graphic designer by day and children’s book illustrator by night, Rebel exists in a constant state of curiosity, creativity and occasional confusion. Her drawings often reflect this, with joyous characters who seem to wonder how they’ve landed in the wild and wacky adventures of children’s literature.
