Carissa is a professional bubbleologist and author-illustrator who has been entertaining children for over a decade through her creative, whimsical, and delightfully colourful world of bubbles, performing under the stage name Miss Bubbles. Based on Australia’s sunny Gold Coast, Carissa is also an avid adventurer, having cycled across many countries. Her favourite journeys to date have taken her through wild Patagonia, snowy Alaska, and the breathtaking Saharan deserts of Morocco. With a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts and a lifelong love of words and imagery, Carissa brings together her worlds of bubbles, bicycles, and playfulness to create illustrations and stories that invite wonder, imagination, curiosity, and a sense of adventure.
