Bec has a background in education and well-being and she writes with the aim to engage, inspire, and promote growth mindsets. She is the author of The Jolly Swagman and Grow Big, Little Seed. Kristen Willis is an illustrator, creative entrepreneur and experienced graphic designer whose work is shaped by heritage, family and the magic of storytelling. She brings together fine art, design and illustration to craft picture books that feel fresh, engaging and deeply human. Her Italian heritage runs like a bright thread through her illustrations, carrying this same sense of connection: a belief that stories, like meals, are meant to be shared. Kristen sees picture books as living experiences — spaces where playful characters and rich, layered detail invite readers to linger, return and discover something new each time.
