Luca Massimo Barbero, historian and critic of modern and contemporary art, is Director of the Institute of Art History at the Giorgio Cini Foundation in Venice and scientific consultant of the Lucio Fontana Foundation. He is the author of numerous publications and exhibitions on the art of the Italian post World War II period.
