Carol Berger has been a nurse since 1978 and a family nurse practitioner since 2009. She has worked in the acute care environment for 12 years as a hospitalist and in a rural health clinic in Missouri for 7 years taking care of patients from only a few days old to over the age of 100. She is an associate professor in the nursing program at Maryville University and teaches at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Lynette Dixon has over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, including professional work in private practice and school settings and a specialization in addiction counseling. She is an assistant professor of clinical mental health counseling in the College of Education and Human Services at Lindenwood University, where she teaches in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program.
